About Active by Teal

Active by Teal was founded in December 2022 by Teal Kealohi Salvador, an entrepreneur born and raised on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. She later moved to Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurial Studies in 2014.

What began as a vision to create thoughtfully designed activewear has grown into a brand centered around confidence, movement, and feeling your best. Every piece is created with the intention of helping you feel comfortable and empowered in your own skin—because confidence is always in style, and looking cute is simply an added bonus.

From our first collection to every launch since, our mission has remained the same: to design elevated, functional pieces that inspire you to move through life with confidence.
